Fabriano


Known as the city of paper, Fabriano is an interesting town on the border between Marche and Umbria just 16 km from the Castle of Baccaresca. Famous for being the birthplace of the painter Gentile da Fabriano, the town has a rich historical and artistic heritage. Numerous, for example, the works between ‘200s and ‘300s present inside the Pinacoteca Civica "Bruno Molajoli". The heart of the city is the main square, at the center of which stands Sturinalto Fountain. On the sides one will find the historical buildings such as the Palazzo del Podestà, the Oratory of charity, the loggia of St Francis, the Municipality Palace and Theater del Gentile.
